30-minute psychoeducation (more content-based):
Emotional recognition sessions
Focus on how the emotion feels in the body, identifying triggers and planning ways of coping with this emotion. Emotions available are: Anger-Joy-Sadness- Excitement- Fear-Disgust
Autism and anxiety
This session will focus on how anxiety presents differently in autistic individuals and provide practical strategies to help you understand and manage your anxiety.
Recognising strengths and building self-esteem
This session will focus on what strengths you possess and how you can utilise these strengths at home, work or in volunteering.
Reasonable adjustments and how they may benefit you
This session will explain what reasonable adjustments are, what you can ask for and how to request them.
Disclosing autism at work
This session will explain the process for disclosing autism at work and what support you should expect from your employer. This session will also explain that disclosing autism is a personal decision.
Understanding autism for late-diagnosed individuals
This session will allow you to better understand your autistic self and reframe your past experiences through understanding your autistic identity.
Autism and self-harm
This session focuses on self-harm, including non-suicidal self-injury such as skin-picking, and explains what support is available to help you.
Advocating for yourself
This session will allow you to understand what rights you have as an autistic person and how to make sure you receive adjustments at work, when accessing healthcare, and elsewhere!
Autism, Menopause and Wellbeing
This session explains why autistic people experience menopause differently from non-autistic people, and what you can do to support your wellbeing during menopause.
Autism and Sleep
This session explains how autism can affect sleep and what autism-targeted strategies may support you to have better sleep.
